Suffering from one of the highest unemployment rates in the history of the country, workers in Ireland, who are able to keep their jobs, have experienced a substantial reduction in their average annual working hours. Irish workers’ still draw an average annual wage of approximately $51,000 per annum, which is double the average income in some of the other countries in Europe.
Norway

Norwegian labor laws are one of the most liberal in the world. It grants workers a bare minimum of 21 paid leaves a year, plus gives working parents with young offspring the right to trim down their working hours.
Additionally, policies on maternity leaves are among the most generous. Workers can opt for maternity leaves that can extend up to 43 weeks at full pay, or choose 53 weeks off at reduced pay.
Also part-time work is quite common in the country, especially among female workforce.
