5. Reporter (Newspaper):



As the digital world continues to evolve and provide on-demand information, the demand for proficient daily newscasts and the need of print newspapers is diminishing at a rapid pace. Though this profession once seemed glamorous, declining job opportunities, increased stress levels and lower income have landed this profession in the worst Jobs list.



With the industry inclined to move towards online and mobile news, the pressure on these professionals have mounted. They are now forced to do other work, apart from writing articles. They are actually asked to do much more for less and the pay is not good.



4. Oil Rig Worker:



These professionals basically perform maintenance on the rigs and pipelines. They in all probability are the least likely to climb the career ladder or reach greater heights and most of these professionals have reported that the work is physically exhausting. The added level of danger and the inherent stress levels are some of the factors responsible for the hard landing of this profession in the list.
