VMware
VMware is a U.S. based software company that provides cloud, virtualization software and services, and was the first to successfully virtualize the x86 architecture.
According to Foote Partners data, premium pay for VCDX increased by 28.6 percent in the last 12 months, while VCP-Cloud also saw a premium pay increase of 12.5 percent over the last year.
With this significant growth over the last year, recipients of the VCAP-CID certification are also receiving 8-13 percent of base pay salary as a skills pay premium from employers.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Private Cloud
Microsoft Certifications are information technology professional certifications for Microsoft products.
The Private Cloud is a new Microsoft certification covering Windows 2012 Hyper-V and System Center 2012, as well as applications such as SharePoint and Exchange.
As Microsoft has a good hold in certification arena it is flexing it on a big push for Azure. The certification is also something individuals can consider to find your organization migrating to Hyper-V.
"This certification is being elevated by the push their giving to Azure. There's so much Microsoft out there and they are migrating to Hyper-V," said Foote.
