As per the Sleepy's, health-care professionals such as emergency medical technicians and paramedics work an additional 180 hours a year compared to an average worker. They are often on duty at nights, and must be prepared to sacrifice their personal life and ensure their timely presence irrespective of the time or what they are doing. 



Economists



While it might seem shocking that this profession has made it to the list, it is no doubt that sound sleep is the one thing that most economists crave for on a daily basis. But because their work entails a lot of research, analysis, counsel economic development plans or monetary policies, they are unable of shut their eyes for a sufficiently long period. Tight schedules and chocking work environment that entails hectic pressure, may often necessitate overtime.
