Botanist
What better way to ditch the desk, than opting to be a botanist and spend all day studying the different forms of plant life. As a botanist all you need to do is collect specimens from nature, conduct research in a greenhouse and examine flora in your lab, which sounds like fun.
Attention to details, patience, good concentration and a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in botany or a related field are some of the perquisites to enter this field.
Environmental Engineer
As an environmental engineer you will be responsible for using engineering and science principles to develop engineering solutions for problems that are affecting the ecosystem. And your job duties as an environmental engineer revolve around three core areas, namely, the disposal and management of waste products, the reclamation of land degraded or damaged due to human activities, and the control and mitigation of pollutants or effluents that are having an adverse impact on the nature.
Possession of a B.Tech or a B.E degree in environmental science is essential to land a job in this line of work.
