BENGALURU: A survey conducted by Timesjob brings out a new aspect of the present Indian professional sector.

80pct in the survey finds their pay role significant but with no long term scope for growth.

Here’s an elaborate report on the conclusions and chapters unveiled through the survey.

Job Importance for the Organisation

It’s always important to have a feel good factor in the job as that connects the employee closer to the organization. However across the country 43pct believes that their work and contribution can easily be replaced at any given point of time. This definitely does not show a good side of Indian corporate industry and organizations must work to rectify it.

Fair Payment

With the advent of job portals and websites, it’s now easy to compare your package worth anyone else’s or with any other company. In that 30pct only reflects a positive happy reaction to their pay plan. The rest 70pct are not satisfied with their packages and believes a better pay can help them to serve better for the organization.

Long term career in the current organization

This got a 60:40 view, where the first half was in plans to shift from their present job. The second half however was happy to serve wherever they are working. Keeping the work hopping nature especially among GenY of the country, this outcome was quite predictable.

Reasons for respondents to doubt their Long term career in the current organization

When inquired the reason to be skeptical about survival in any organisation, many reasons popped up Howver the popular ones are not interested in present role (confirmed by 24pct), lack of growth (34pct), unsatisfactory salary (32pct) and explore more opportunities (10pct).

Support from the company

Though this may seem to be a very important factor to work in an organization, yet 58pct of Indian employees denied such support. This definitely affects their professional dedication. The rest lot of 42pct showed a positive vibe as they affirm company cooperation with their moves and goals.
