4. Never say promptness as your strength after showing up late: You are most likely to be asked by the interviewer about your strengths and weaknesses during the course of the interview as this is the most expected question. If you have arrived late for the interview, never tell the hiring manager that your promptness is your greatest strength, as your late arrival has already proved him about your promptness.   



5. Never refer yourself in the third person: Many times it is seen that applicants tend to refer themselves in the third person before the interviewer or on the resume. However, it is advisable not to do so as you may get disqualified for the job.
