The American Track and field athletic legend Carl Lewis does not need much introduction. His tally of Olympics as well as world championship medals is a proof of his greatness. From 1979 till 1996 over a decade he has been the dominant in 100m, 200 m, relays and long jump.



He was born to an athletic family because of which he could easily pursue his dreams. But initially he started to earn his living at a local McDonalds shop. He has stated that he learned the value of time during the work at the shop. He said, “Time is very important … you couldn’t let the fries get cold. If I was 10 seconds off, I’d have no gold medal,”
