7. Occupational Therapist:



Occupational therapists basically aid individuals with mental, physical or social disabilities to carry out day-to-day tasks or activities independently. These professionals work with people of all ages, whose troubles may have been present since birth, or the result of an illness, accident, lifestyle or ageing.

These professionals basically treat patients through the remedial use of everyday activities. They help these patients recover, improve and develop the skills needed for daily living and working.



Most of these professionals opt to work as physical therapists, speech therapists or audiologist in hospitals. While others work in schools or provide home health services.



Women in this field are among the highest paid, with an average salary of about $60,000 per year, or $1,155 per week, which is greater than the median salary for males in this profession.
