The main objective of an accountant is to prepare and examine the financial records of a business organization. They ensure that financial records are accurate and the taxes are paid properly and on appropriate time. And these professionals also assess financial operations and work to ensure that the business organization functions as smoothly and efficiently as possible.



Presently, there is a huge demand for these professionals in corporate houses, non-profit organizations and government institutions to help with financial matters and chances are that this demand isn’t dying down anytime soon. As per the National Association of Colleges and Employer report, the employment trend for this profession is very positive and this line of work had the most number of job openings compared to any other profession in the list. 



The educational requirement for this profession is a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. While the annual pay package for these professionals is approximately 0.92 lakh to 3.74 lakh.
