Leonhard Euler



Leonhard Euler, often hailed as the King of Mathematics or the greatest mathematician of all time, is a blind genius who galvanized the world of mathematics in his time.



Euler, considered to be on par with Albert Einstein in terms of intelligence level, introduced most of the contemporary mathematical terminology and notation, particularly for mathematical analysis. This pre-eminent mathematician of the 18th century is also renowned for his work in mechanics, fluid dynamics, optics, and astronomy.



Pythagoras



Renowned for his Pythagorean Theorem, Pythagoras is the one credited for the field of trigonometry. His theorem is still the basis of several mathematical calculations and he is among the top of the most famous mathematicians in the world for a good reason. His works are so extraordinary and his proofs are so accurate that he is now regarded as the Father of Modern Mathematics.
