Spurned out 90,000 employees over a span of 20 years and are in mood to queue out 28,000 more as the postal sector is struggling with the advance in technology.
No one now has the time to post or rather to wait for it, it is curbing losses as to its services are not much in demand or price.
# IBM: 60,000 employees, (July 1993)
After this much info about IBM it seems now as the leader in firing people, but the reasons  trails back to 1993.
Back then IBM CEO Louis V. Gerstner Jr. when in control of the company saw a sinking company as to TITANIC, but his tactic saved it from sinking to unknown depths. He started firing and his workforce reduction helped in saving IBM $4 billion a year.
