The story of its growth from a small institution in the pre-independence India to a central university located in New Delhi is a saga of dedication, conviction and vision of the people who worked against all odds and saw it growing step by step. This university was established by nationalist Muslim leaders in 1920 and it provides undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate courses. The university also focuses on the overall development of its students and helps them attain success through campus placements.



School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi





The School of Planning and Architecture had a modest beginning in 1941 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic. It was later affiliated to the University of Delhi and later got the status of a Deemed University.  In 1959 the School was renamed as School of Planning and Architecture. It is the top ranked college in India for architecture and also the seventh best in Asia with being one among the top 10 graduate planning education institutes in the world.
