Your new salary is higher: But it may not be as high as your worth. You may be underpaid and may not even know it. Your lack of knowledge regarding your condition may make you an easy puppet in the hands of hiring managers and if there is anyone who can get this prevented it is you alone. The salary offered to you may be higher than your previous one but you may be worth much more.

Look at the other benefits too: Sometimes, your salary package is not all that is left to look at. There are various other things that matter in a job, some of them including aspects like bonus opportunities, retirement savings plan and a package of benefits. Vacations and options for telecommuting are some of the other things that you will need to consider. Lets face it , money is not everything. Sometimes you have to be comfortable.
