Firefighter: The sound of the job itself suggests its danger. You are literally playing with fire. This is why firefighting is one career path that requires extensive training. A firefighter too needs to get him mentally prepared for any emergency that can occur at any time. Quick thinking and on the spot decision making are two qualities required. The job may be a very stressful one that requires long hours of work. Burning cars and burning houses are the terrible sights that you will occasionally be coming across. Getting caught inside a burning building is one of the worst risks that you may come across. You may be exposed to injuries, burns, or may even die of suffocation. The high risks of the job require a firefighter to be armed with heavy equipment to ensure his safety. The developing of cancer is another risk factor here due to constant exposure to hazardous materials and chemicals like carcinogen.
