Although, most workers belong to a union and enter this occupation, high pay and good benefits, together with guaranteed job growth makes it a high paying job that don’t actually require a degree to get started with.
Elevator installers and repairers mechanics assemble, install, and replace elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and similar equipment in new and old buildings. Additionally, these individuals are also responsible for after-sales service along with modernizing older equipment.
With the newer installation and maintenance of elevators in stores, residential and commercial buildings is set to spur demand, and this inturn is projected to have a positive impact  on the employment opportunities for these professionals. As per BLS report, elevator installers and repairers are inclined to witness 25 percent growth with regards to job opportunities by 2022.
