People may agree whatever you say in the meeting to impress you. But you will be disappointed as they simply forget your lectures without paying any notice to the message. The whole idea of the conference will not be implemented. Before implementing the idea, you should introduce the topic for discussion, so that they can contribute to the new proposal. People will be more interested to establish the idea as they are part of it. Also you should not introduce more than two three objectives as it makes them inattentive.
