Architects and engineers are fifth on the list of ‘Top Jobs with Largest Annual Growth in Wages’, with an commendable wage growth of around 3.9 percent in 2012. As per the PayScale website, the median salary for professionals in this sector is approximately 2.07 to 8.81 per annum.

Architects and engineers have had a good run lately. They are basically recruited by companies that engage in designing and planning industrial, residential, institutional, leisure, and commercial buildings or structures and currently are in high demand.



Petroleum, biomedical, civil and environmental engineers are experiencing one of the highest growth rates.



Due mostly to advancement in building technologies and other gains in the field of engineering, wages for professional in this industry have grown at an astonishing pace, which is faster than any other.
