Nurse



The basic function of a nurse is to provide and coordinate patient care, educate patient about their health conditions, and provide the necessary emotional support to patients and their family members. They offer care for the sick and injured people in hospitals, private homes, public health agencies, camps, schools, industries and other health care settings. They also help families, individuals or group of people to achieve good health and prevent diseases. And the fact that the job demands these professionals to seamlessly switch between multiple roles such as educator, caregiver and administrator concurrently, makes it an ideal career option for multi-taskers.



With the increase in population, increased emphasis of preventative care and advancement in medical technology, the demand for nurse is projected to grow at a lightning pace, which is an added plus to be associated with this profession.



A Bachelor’s or Associates degree in nursing is necessary to land a job in this line of work.
