5 Big Trends of Education in 2012

Bangalore: The field of education is evolving every day and it is coming up with new trends to enhance the quality of education and student quality.



Many career alternatives, which were not regarded to be important earlier, are now among the sought after career options for the students. Though the demand for traditional courses such as engineering and medicine are still in the top, the demand for new educational programs are emerging fast in the country.



Foreign universities setting up their centers have emerged as a new trend in the field of education in the country after there was an approval by the Union Cabinet for the foreign universities bill in March 2010.



As India continues to be an important marketplace in the new global economy, Harvard Business School has announced a new program in its HBS India Research centre in Mumbai. In that program they have focused on entrepreneurship, strategic management, innovation and corporate accountability. In addition to new programs, it also includes Managing and Transforming Professional Service firms.
