Established in 1996, ISB is one of the best B-School in the country. The institute has campuses at Hyderabad and Mohali, and is funded entirely by corporates, foundations and individuals from around the world.



The B-school was founded by two senior executives of McKinsey & Company, namely Rajat Gupta and Anil Kumar, and is governed by a board comprising both Indian and non-Indian businessmen.



The B-school's flagship program, the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), was ranked 34th in the world in the 2013 Financial Times Global MBA Rankings. It is also the first business school in South Asia to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and in the year 2012 the institution was ranked 7th in the Asia-Pacific region by the QS Global 200 Business Schools Rankings.
