Yes, the median wage for this profession is very good, but the factors such as stress levels that are off the chart, difficulties in landing a job, poor hiring outlook and high-pressure working environment that necessitates you to be on your toes at all times have took the sheen away from this profession.



10. Computer Programmer



Median Salary: 2.37 Lakh (Approximate)



Hiring Outlook: 12 Percent



Though the tech industry is on a boom, the job outlook for computer programmers is not very encouraging. The hiring activities are expected to reach a rock bottom in the coming year, as most of the tech conglomerates from the developed economies are expected to outsource coding work to save money.



In addition, the pressure to churn out code at an even faster rate is not very constructive.
