China:

Although several industries in China are going through rough times and the country is experiencing sluggish economic growth, there are more job vacancies in second the largest economy in the world than there has been around a decade.

33 percent of the workforce thinks that it is the right time to find a job, whereas 56 percent of them think otherwise.

India:

After remaining mostly stagnant through the course of last year due to global financial meltdown, the job market in India is expected to grow at a modest rate this year. Also high-performers across a wide variety of sectors are expected to be rewarded with a pay hike of approximately 10-15 percent, which are positive signs.

In spite of such encouraging signs, 56 percent of the workforce within the country is still pessimistic about the employment opportunities and believe that is not the right time to find a new job, while 33 percent think otherwise.
