John Potter: He is the former Post Master General and CEO of the U.S. Portal Service. He earned his masters in management as a Sloan fellow from MIT at 1995. Now he serves as the president and CEO of the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority. John E Potter joined the postal service in 1978 as a distribution clerk. He established himself as an automation expert after eight years of struggle in New York.
James Woods: This American actor and voice artist studied political science from MIT at scholarship. He was even a member of a drama group named Dramashop and he left it early to pursue an acting career. The Onion Field, Once Upon Time In America, The Oliver, Ghosts Of Mississipi and Shark were some of his best works.
Shirley Ann Jackson: She is supposed to be the first African American women to earn a doctorate from MIT in 1973. She was the chairperson of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission during the time of Clinton. At present, she is the president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She used to do volunteer work at Boston City Hospital and taught students at Roxbury YMCA. In 1938, she got her bachelor’s degree and wrote a thesis on solid state physics. Her first position at work was that of research associate at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
