Not Deep Specialization In One Area:

According to Bock, they don’t look for the detailed knowledge of the job. The reason behind that is the need of fresh thinking and innovative ideas that comes only out of knowledge of general things rather than specialization. They expect the candidates to have a vivid knowledge of everything basic.



Emergent Leadership:

Emergent Leadership should not be like jumping over the captain’s chair all the time, says Bock. It requires coming forward in the situation of crisis and requirement and helping the team take decisive step or action but step back when the requirement is over.
