Average Salary: $58 000-$65 000



Train conductors, also known as guards or train crew, answer passengers’ questions about routes, arrival times, and connections. They also make sure that rail passengers have paid their fare and are safe and comfortable, during their journey. To do this job, excellent customer service skills and the ability to get on with a wide variety of people is needed, along with  a good memory to deal with fare and route enquiries.



Train conductors work 35 to 37 hours a week, possibly on a shift system including early mornings, late nights, and weekends. The median annual salary of a train conductor is between $58 000 and $65 000 per year.



#8.Ice Cream Taster



Average Salary: $56 000



Ice cream tasters are employed by dairy companies to taste different flavors of ice cream and  help create new ones. People hired as food tasters make an average of $56 000 a year and can go much higher than that, depending on the company they work for.



John Harrison is the Official Taste Tester of Dreyer’s company and is known as the “ice cream man,” he tastes an average of sixty ice cream flavors, on a daily basis. He has tasted more than a few hundred million gallons of ice cream and has helped in the creation of over hundred flavors. His taste buds are reportedly insured for a million dollars and he sticks to a very strict diet, so as not to affect his tasting skills. His annual salary is between $70 000 and $100 000, a year.
