Bangalore is a house to so many engineering colleges; with so many graduates the city has a lot of supply for an average pay scale compared to the other global cities.  Bangalore is the epicenter of the IT boom, so when techies were fired at work due to being exported to India, the claimed to have been ‘Bangalored’!!
