6. Network Architect

Network architects have a wide range of responsible starting from designing a network of computers to overseeing its implementation within an organization. Often these tech professionals have to work in association with the network engineers and network administrators in order to accomplish the goals of the organization.

Network architects have advanced more rapidly over the last few years compared to the previous 2 decades, says Michael Kirven. He added that the push to build private cloud networks or a hybrid between public and private cloud networks has put a lot of pressure on the networking departments to address the challenges and this is creating new demand for these professionals in the IT industry. 

As per the PayScale website, the median wages for these professionals ranges between 5.81 lakh to 18.75 lakh.
