Charif  Souki tops the list with an unexpectedly high amount earned by a CEO. Cheniere Energy is a Texas based company that deals with liquefied natural gas transport.
Souki is the Chairman, President and CEO of Cheniere Energy.
His pay is justified as his base pay is less than $3.7 billion and the vast amount of money received by him is the result of stock he holds in the company. The company followed him and reached to a level of giant success between 2008 and 2013. On an average he receives up to $141,949,280 of annual salary.
