Eye Dart
Majority of speakers may it be beginners or the experienced ones, fail to create a meaningful eye contact. Their eyes keep scurrying around all over the audience, without ever giving attention to those who actually are the listeners. Lack of eye contact while delivering a speech may come to conclusions like disinterest, insincerity, detachment, insecurity and sometimes even arrogance.

In order to connect with the heart of the audience one should first connect visually. To establish that one should at least maintain an eye contact for at least one sentence per person so that a relation is build up.

Distracting Mannerisms
Some mannerisms of yours can distract people from your speech, like moving your hands, jingling keys, keeping your hands in your pocket, pacing back and forth, twisting your ring, adjusting your clothes and many more. These mannerisms draw the audience’s attention away from even your very important speech. To prevent this observe yourself properly and try to overcome those backdrops. Try to increase your comfort level and reduce anxiety.
