2. Software Engineer
Average Base Salary:
355,260 per year
A software engineer mandatorily needs to have knowledge about computer programming. This can be obtained through a university degree or vocational training.
The main task of a software engineer is to determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions to software applications. Intel, Microsoft and Cisco are the top three companies to pay a ransom to their software engineers.

3. Database Administrator (DBA)

A DBA is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a database. They customize the data so that it remains consistent, clear and defined. DBA also take care that users access data concurrently at the same time.
Depending on the size of the company, DBAs may need to work in graveyard shifts. For those who maintain online systems which are accessed 24 hours a day, they need to be on-call even when out of office.

4. Computer Hardware Engineer
Average Base Salary: 148,423 per year
Computer Hardware Engineers create new directions and rapid advances in computer technology. They design new information technology devices using logic and reasoning, clarify assumptions and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to problems.
They sometimes work with software developers. Down the line, they need to excel in team work also.
