New IIM's: Student Dreams Built In Air

BANGALORE: With the CAT score out and still no news about the promised IIMs students are baffled about their options, in addition to the existing 13 IIMs another 6 have been announced by the HRD to be set up this year. The new IIMs that are yet to be established were speculated to come under the prevalence of the senior one with the one in Bangalore taking over for the new one to be set up IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Ahmedabad for IIM Nagpur and Calcutta was for the one levied in Odisha, reports TOI.



After the announcement to strengthen the views officials from IIM Bangalore visited Vizag for land inspection, but further progress was stagnant as no new announcement from HRD.
Setting up a business standard institution is a very big deal, so with all the land matters as to the assigning for the other IIM’s the process and the announcement is light as air for yet for strong standby.
The HRD is dragging its feet on the slope which on announcement should be run to process and affiliations and the manner in which they are going to run are yet to be clarified.



Earlier IIM B mentored IIM Trichy, with 50 seats for a B-school the count of IIM take ins for the still to be instilled may rise to 300, around 25000 students shortlisted for filling up the seats, with 3000 seats available at the seven premier ones being the early contenders and the new ones in the back the still to be ones have a long wait.



The students have to wait some time more; the places where the new ones are going to be set up are Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Odisha, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh
