Bangalore: Most of you must be quite nervous before facing a job interview as you may start thinking what will the interviewer ask you during the course of the job interview, whether you will reach in time or not and that whether you will get selected or rejected.  However, it is always advisable for you not to be over anxious, as out of over anxiety you may lose your presence of mind and say dumb things in front of the hiring manager. Moreover, it is also noted that candidates out of nervousness have also over shared few information’s to the hiring managers which has also kept them from bagging a great offer. According to Kelly Eggers of Fins Finance listed below are 9 dumb things said during job interviews.

1. I am late for the job interview because I was fighting with my husband it happens regularly: Chenofsky Singer, an executive and career management coach in New Jersey said that one of the candidates for the job interview arrived 20 minutes late and said to her that while she was coming for the interview she fought with her husband who was also responsible to drop their child to the day care. When Chenofy asked her that is this thing usually happens in the morning? she replied that this is the reason for which she lost her last job, where the company had no respect for families. This is not all; the candidate also told her that she is having constant marital problems.  Chenofy mentions that although that candidate had a great resume they could not select her for the job after knowing that her previous client was quite distressed with her daily personal problems.
