Bangalore: It is always difficult to compose a perfect resume, however in this moment of speculated recession we want our resume to stand out of the crowd so that it can grab maximum attention of the recruiters therefore we end up writing some sentences that can highlight our skills and demonstrate us as the perfect candidate for the job. Instead of writing these common phrases we can also use some other words to hook the attention of the employers which will prove to be more effective, according to Laura Smith Proulx of careerealism listed below are the 7 most overused resume phrases.

1. Excellent communications skills:

First in our list comes the “excellent communication skills.” It is the most commonly used phrase by job seekers. Even if you mention this in your resume your employers will pay “so what” damn attitude towards it as they already know that you are desperate to bag the job that’s why you are conveying this kind of a critical message .Instead of this phrase you can describe your communication skill in more detail, with sentences like “capable of distilling complex technical concepts to non-IT executives” that can clearly highlight your capabilities to impart knowledge to others in the company.
