Rabindranath Tagore: The great India poet, writer and philosopher was the thirteenth child born to Sarada Devi. His early education took place at home where he learned most of his childhood life and at the age of seventeen was sent to Britain to continue his education, but he never did.
Being a dropout of an educational system, Tagore went on to be one of the most influential poet and writer in India. His writings and way of life portray the closeness and bond he share with humanity and also his undying interest for social reforms in the wake of the many social evils practiced at his time. A college dropout yet was knighted by the King of England and also won the Noble Prize in Literature. Tagore repudiated his Knighthood in protest of the Jalian walabagh Massacre.
Subhash Chandra: Every Indian will have or have watch a show off of a Zee channel, well the Media Owner of this widely popular channel never complete his studies. Known as a media Mogul and also the Owner of the EsselGroup, a business Conglomerate, Subhash Chandra dropped out at grade 12 but now runs an empire that is reaching out to almost all Indian homes.
Apart from his business ventures, Subhash Chandra carries out philanthropic works, educating over 11 lakh students across over a 1000 villages. Well education wasn’t important to him but today is giving a firsthand opportunity for the underprivileged to get a chance at finishing school.
