Job Title : Software Advisory Engineer - Networking - SDN - Java UI Developer
Work Experience: 5 to 15 years
Qualification: BS/MS in Engineering in Computers/Electronics

About The Group:
This group is leading the effort in implementing the following:

    Management of virtualized network infrastructure such as PowerVM,KVM,VMWarevSphere etc.
    Management of new network technologies such as FCoCEE and802.1Qbg(Edge Virtual Bridging)
    Handling additional device support for IBM hardware including Blade Server Switches and Rack Switches
    Dynamic discovery capabilities to keep in-sync with naturally occurring changes
    Enhancements to simplify deployment and expedite time to value

Role:

    Individual contributor on Network Management platforms.
    Development of modules and feature enhancements for IBM”s network management product.
    Functional testing and unit-testing
    Individual  will be responsible for scoping, defining and executing networking protocol features for devices and multiservices gateways.
    In this role the individual will be hands-on technically and work closely with customers and  understand the product feature requirements, define a project plan, scope efforts .
    The individual will be the managing the project and ensuring that the customer requirements are met.

Skills:

    At least 5 years of development experience in developing JAVA enterprise applications.
    Solid programming skills in OOPS /JAVA.
    REST /UI/ Python
    Design tools, UML etc.
    L2/L3 Protocols
    Database design/JDBC
    High Availability and Fault Tolerant System Design
    Management Software / User Interface Development

BS/MS in Engineering in At least 5 years of development experience in developing JAVA enterprise applications. Solid programming skills in OOPS /JAVA.
