Job Description:
Manage team including performance planning and measurement, feedback and coaching through regular weekly team meetings and 1x1 sessions.
Responsible for achieving online quality and on-time launch targets
Monitor the launch planning status. Check/correct team discipline on schedule adherence, quality and productivity aspects
Communicate launch status to global online executives and marketing stakeholders
Act as first point of contact to handle problem escalations, identifying risks and solutions
Work with management in developing and implementing strategic plans and provide direction to the team.
Responsible for personal and professional development of emerging talent in employees. Establish \"Individual Developmental Plans\" for direct reports. Work with HR to develop career paths
Develop plans and objectives and participates in cross-functional projects to improve operational performance for the organization.
Drive business process improvements for all steps of global content launch syndication: Copywriting, design, review, legal approval, translation, rollout and quality audit
Respond to and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders
Ensure team adheres to Dell.com content and user experience style guide
SKILLS
The e-business manager has a strong grasp of the online/eCommerce space with excellent leadership, marketing, team management, and project management and communication skills.
Graduate or post-graduate degree, preferably in business or marketing communications
Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years managing people. Key experience includes online agency, marketing, web content creation, translation and project management. Experience should in include global projects and working with remote teams.
Experienced people management, team building and development skills.
Strong analytical, presentation, budget and planning skills.
Strong project-management and problem-solving skills, Business Process Improvement certification a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating messages and presentations for executives
Strong organizational agility and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently, quickly and thoroughly under multiple deadlines
Strong eye for detail and organization as well as the ability to focus on the \"big picture\"
Must be flexible and possess the ability to balance the management of multiple projects simultaneously
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office software skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
