The centre today has over 1000 employees and has plans to grow further in the coming years.
SG GSC works for multiple business lines including Socit Gnrale Corporate and Investment Banking, Specialized Financial Services, Retail Banking and Global Investment Management and Services.
Your role Understand functional requirements and raise clarifications with BAs and others concerned Should be able to estimate from high level requirement and do an independent estimate from detailed functional specification Capability to provide technical design and implement on complext requirement Ability to coach and drive other team members Meticulously review the design, test cases and code and provide guidance Should be willing to code depending on the needs Should be able to act as an effective backup for the PMYour profile Require 7+ yrs experience on Java Hands-on strong experience on Core Java and J2EE (mandatory: Hibernate, Struts, Spring and Ajax,Web services) Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process Oriented Should be able to independently contribute towards technical desing for Java/JEE applications.
Strong fundamentals in Core Programming, JDBC, Object Oriented design & design patterns Should be good in configuring and setting up the application on the application server Should be good in java based application design . Should be open to do coding if required Should have knowledge on Oracle PL SQL Experience in creating & executing unit tests using test driven approach with JUnit etc Ability to work on latest technology, have good analytical skills and pickup faster Should have good communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in an onsite-offshore model would be an advantageYour careers pathTech Consultant
