Associate UX Designers

Job Description

• Develop user interface structure and create robust wire frames


• Prototype solutions to express design ideas and workflows


• Work closely with development team to rapidly come up with design concepts and wireframes


• Work with visual designers to bring out the final look and feel for the product


• Keep abreast of current usability developments and new methodologies


• Assist in conducting usability evaluations including expert reviews, card sorts, competitive analyses,   usability tests, create personas, profiles, and usage scenarios based on user research


• Must have


• Experience and knowledge of usability activities mentioned above.


• Familiarity with different types of UI designs, prototyping tools and technologies


• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasive skills


• A strong interest in understanding how people behave and how it relates to good design


• Familiarity with the process of UCD and its application

Front End Developer

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Designers to implement the next generation of Facebook products


• Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems


• Identify and address performance bottlenecks


• Participate in design and code reviews


• Interact with other team members to incorporate their innovations and vice versa


• Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS)


• Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components


• Aware of but not reliant on Object Oriented JavaScript Frameworks (Prototype JS, MooTools, Dojo, etc.)


• Experience developing rich applications with HTML/CSS/JS


• Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking


• 3+ years of experience building web applications


• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field Front End Engineer
