What I like: During an interview I met a candidate who had researched well about the requirements of the post he had applied for. He gave information about where he would be the best fit and where he might not. He has simply collected information about the post from his friends who were working in the company. I appreciate such level of clarity in a candidate. However the breed of techies with clarity is rare, not that they lack, they are not aware of it. It is important for a candidate to have a clear vision about where he is applying for and prepare accordingly.
What I don’t like:
Candidates should know that before entering an interview they should switch off their cell phones or if they are having a valid reason, they should inform the interview board before the interview starts. It annoys the HR personnel when a candidate’s cell phone starts ringing in the middle of an interview.
