One of the main problems we encounter is the lack of job readiness skills among the candidates. Basic skills which every company wants like fluency in English and the ability to work in a team or deliver basic presentations is in acute shortage. An employee in an organization must have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal stakeholders. The ability to exercise leadership and to think outside the box”are skills which will make one employee different from the other. Along with it the ability to evaluate situations, act logically, and solve problems, is a valuable asset to employers.An employee must be able to view himself herself as part of a team and have good work ethics. .Having a high level of integrity and “avoiding the blame game” by being self-accountable are personal skills we must be able to develop on our own. Some of these skill gaps we try to reduce through a systematic and holistic approach to training. These are some of the skill shortage which any MBA education must be able to address. We at DreamGains believe that everything can be taught if the person has a right kind of attitude, (which cannot be taught in a month’s time). It has to be engendered with the right mix of motivation and a learning environment.Students must strive to make themselves ‘employable’ from the organization perspective and then there would be no looking back.
