Indium Software Inc., a software testing company, launched its utility-based pricing model (per usage-based pricing) wherein customers pay for value of the delivered services. The main objective of the company is to transform its clients from service mangers to service customers.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Harsha Nutalpati, Chief Executive Officer, said the new model enabled customers to optimally manage their budgets in an extremely predicative manner and minimise the risk of failure.
He said it was a move away from traditional engagement models for software testing services that included time and material, fixed price and testing centre of excellence to consumer-based model.
