Bangalore: Indian employees and Indian companies have scored a better work-life balance ratio in the year 2012 than the ratio in 2010. This has been researched by Trak.in website which had recently figured out this fact. The concept of work-life balance was originally started from the Western management theories. If you are looking out few key steps to manage a better work-life balance in the Indian society, here are five ways which you can make use to maintain a better work-life balance in India.

1. Working from home option:

Around 50,000 employees from IBM India and around 15,000 tech workers from the HP India are making good use of their company’s work-life balance option. It has been reported that these employees are providing their service to the company by working from home as they are allowed to work from home. Though not all the companies provide this facility, there are few companies who are providing that facility to their employees. Microsoft has provided its employees with flexible working options and it has the facility of reimbursing telephone and broadband usage to their employees who work from home. Joji Gill, the HR Director of Microsoft India had reported to Times of India that, these facilities provided by the companies not only lead to a better work-life balance for the existing employees, but also it attracts the potential employees as well.
