Lalit Chowdhary is Cisco India Head for System Eng. Team

Mumbai: Cisco appointment Lalit S Chowdhary as senior vice-president for its system engineering for India and Saarc sales organisation.

His primary responsibility will be to drive Cisco's efforts in borderless networks, collaboration and data centre and virtualisation architectures across government, services providers and enterprise customers in the region.

Prior to joining Cisco, Chowdhary spent close to 11 years with Alcatel-Lucent in various leadership roles. Earlier on in his career, he was associated with Hughes Software Systems as engineering manager responsible for roll-out of wireless networks in Russia, Indonesia and India.
