Bangalore: In a workplace, being emotionally attached to your colleagues can create a good atmosphere where you can find someone close with whom you can spend three forth of your day at the workplace. Some feel that without his or her company makes the workplace a very boring place for them to work. But do you know, getting emotionally attached to the colleagues can also avoid you to take some hard decisions on them whenever needed? Yes, most of the seniors at the workplace who have got good colleagues especially junior colleagues have put them into trouble, as they are not in a situation to take tough decisions on their colleagues all of a sudden. So, here are few reasons you need to know on why being emotionally attached at the workplace can be a bad idea for you.



1. Maintaining discipline:



If you are a senior and you have few of your good colleagues working under you, it is very difficult to take hard decisions on them if they make any mistakes. It is your duty to take action on the employees who are not completing their work on time and to those who refuse to work in a team. As a senior it will be your responsibility to discipline such kind of employees and aware them of their job, it will not let others follow the same route of being irresponsible.
