10 Simple Ways to Motivate Employees

1. Post Praise - Whenever you get a chance to praise an employee, make it public. A simple post-it slip or a printout….Let others see it.

2. 2. Say ‘Thank you’ - Call an employee into your office just to say thank you without discussing any other matter.

3. Send a Card - Send a card to the employee's spouse or family thanking them for their support.

4. Pass on Helpful Articles - Pass on helpful articles that could benefit employees and attach a note that says, "Saw this and thought of you."

5. Help - Join in and help an employee who is under pressure.Ask what can be done and help complete the task side-by-side.
